next up, BEETLEJUICE
while I personally was not scared by Beetlejuice, it was suggested by a bunch of you, and it really is full of nightmare-worthy moments
the reason Beetlejuice didn’t scare me at all is pretty simple—I loved the guy. I first saw this movie when I was really little, probably about 7, and after the Banana Congo Line of Terror, I was convinced that Beetlejuice was the good guy and everyone else were the bad guys. I was thoroughly confused why everyone started hating him—HE WAS THE LIFE OF THE PARTY
it made no sense to my little 7-year-old mind, and consequently, cried buckets when Beetlejuice was eaten by the sandworm…it still rains a little on my face just thinking about it
also: RIP Otho
i wanna watch thissss.
